H.I.I.T - GYM
The options are endless for doing a HIIT workout in your gym. You can use as much or as little equipment as you like.
Below are some HIIT workout sequences.
WORKOUT 1
Equipment: Spin bike
- 30 second sprint (at a level where you can maintain an RPM of at least 120)
- 10 second rest
Repeat this for 8 rounds (one 30 second sprint and rest = 1 round), rest for 2 minutes then repeat for 2 more sets.
WORKOUT 2
Equipment: Treadmill
- 500m sprint
- 10 squats
Repeat this for a total of 15 minutes
WORKOUT 3
Equipment: Box and a mat
- 10 box jumps
- 10 press ups
- 10 sit ups
Repeat circuit for a total of 10 rounds.
WORKOUT 4
Equipment: Rowing machine and medicine ball
- 20 calroies on rowing machine
- 20 wall balls
- 20 sit ups
Repeat circuit as many times as possible for 12 minutes
WORKOUT 5
Equipment: Spin bike
- 400m sprint on bike
- 40 walking lunges (20 per leg)
Repeat for a total of 20 rounds
