I live on a dairy farm in the Waikato in New Zealand with my husband Brendan, son Toby, chocolate labrador Abby and mischievious cat Arley.
I created Just Live in 2015 when I got to a point in my life where I wanted to share the journey I was on. Eighteen months before that I had tested positive to carrying the BRCA1 gene mutation which puts me at a high risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer in my lifetime. This was a huge wake up call for me, and in part has contributed to changing my lifestyle, my mental health and the people I surround myself with.
